With a wink nod update on the concept of brotherly love, where men are allowed to display their feelings to each other without fear of cast Brokeback Mountain, Segel opens the story at the foot of the family. Gary (Segel) and his brother Walter - a new Muppet performed by Peter Linz (the human version of Walter, is played by Jim Parsons) - I grew up in Smalltown, America. Childhood assembly contains all the necessary scenes of the sibling bond, the game of baseball together, to measure the door jamb. And 'in this opening sequence that we first understand the fundamental dilemma: Gary is human, but his brother Walter is made of felt fuzzy, ping pong balls and faux fur.
